My Grandson and I had been thinking about a restoration project for sometime when we heard about a guy who restores Honda Mini Trails in our local area. We thought a motorbike would be a fun project so I contacted him. He had a 1982 Honda CT70 Mini Trail he was planning to restore but he let us have it " as is "  for $600.00, a fair price. The bike had been stolen sometime in the past and the thieves painted over the stock Tahitian Red finish with an ugly light blue. The bike was solid mechanically but the electrical system was another story. The turn signals were missing, the ignition switch did not work, head lamp and tail light burned out etc etc. We documented the project in pictures, hope you enjoy it.
